Harker Pottery History

Harker Pottery, America's oldest pottery, operated from 1840 to 1972 in East Liverpool, Ohio, and Chester, West Virginia, producing iconic kitchenware, dinnerware (like Cameoware and Autumn Leaf), Rockingham, and yellowware for over 130 years before closing.

Founded by Benjamin Harker, it evolved from early Log Cabin production to a major manufacturer known for its durability and popular designs, eventually becoming part of the Jeannette Glass Company.
